Description:  B-12 is a great supplement to give to chinchillas, not only chins that are sick but also with healthy chins.  May be given as a great in healthy chins or a supplement in ailing chins to improve appetite.  It can elevate mood and energy, most chins seem to take it readily.

In healthy chins a full tablet may be given as a treat.   With chins that are in decline or ill it may be given whole, crushed and mixed into handfeeding supplement or soaked in a little water and syringe fed directly.
